In the a midst of public health has become vulnerable due to COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of Ayurveda has been recognized than ever before. Hela Ayurveda healthcare system has highly penetrated across the country with contribution of both government and private sector. In responding to a cordial request made by the state minister, Siddhalepa the leader in Hela Ayurveda sector donate 100 mattresses to the Ayurvedic Teaching Hospital, Borella on 05th November 2020.

An event to mark this donation was held at the Ayurvedic Teaching Hospital with the participation of Indigenous Medicine, Rural and Ayurveda Hospital Development and Community Health State Minister Sisira Jayakody, Managing Director of Hettigoda Group Mr. Asoka Hettigoda, Commissioner of Ayurveda Department Mr. Chathura Kumarathunga, Director of Ayurvedic Teaching Hospital, Borella Ayur Dr. Mrs. Supipi Sangamiththa and the secretary to the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Mrs. Kumari Veerasekara.
