International visitors have already started coming in search of Sri Lankan authentic treatment

Key German Ayurveda Tour Operators, FIT Reisen and Neue Wege visited Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort together with two German journalists on 24th January. The delegation comprising 5 members experienced a special herbal steam-preventive care for the first time at a Sri Lankan hotel in addition to the already declared health and safety standards of washing hands and disinfecting the feet etc.

With the opening of Sri Lankan airports for general visitors on 21st January 2021, the delegation arrived to experience the Ayurveda properties and travel in Sri Lanka, being the first travel delegation to arrive in Sri Lanka in the new normal, based on the arrangements made by Sri Lanka Tourism.

These Ayurveda promoters have been playing a key role in promoting Sri Lankan Ayurveda especially in Europe dominated by Germany. The delegation was well received at the Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort as the property provides authentic Sri Lanka Ayurveda using 100% natural ingredients and medicines produced at its factories. Being among the first hotels to operate as a level 1 property, Siddhalepa Resort was approved by the Sri Lankan Government under the health and safety protocols imposed by the Ministry of Health and The Ministry of Tourism.

The delegation experienced the unique selection of Siddhalepa Ayurveda tea and Ayurveda elixirs. They also visited the Medicinal Plant garden and the organic vegetable garden during this brief visit. The calm and serene Wadduwa beach made them feel comfortable while providing a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by hundreds of rare medicinal plants at the resort.
