The Presidential Environmental Awards ceremony was held on October 29, 2019 at the Nelum Pokuna Theater in Colombo under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
Hettigoda Industries (Pvt) Ltd. was awarded the Silver Trophy of commendation in the Pharmaceutical Products and Personal Care Product Industries Category for the excellent contribution towards Environmental Conservation at the Presidential Environment Awards Declaration Ceremony 2019.
The Presidential Environment Awards Programme is organized by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) to reward the individuals, institutions, Organizations, Environmental Journalists and Industrial activities which have made unique contribution to the field of environmental conservation and protection.
